If you are considering selling your collection, or if your collection has got too big to manage, and you have   material that you no longer want, then Sedbergh Stamps will be able to assist you in one of several ways.

Our understanding of the market means that we know where your collection will do best for you.

We have a very well established outlet on Ebay where we offer auctions most weeks. Currently we have over 1,400 followers and in the past 8 years or so we have sold over 22,000 items. In addition we ship world wide, and take care of all customs paperwork to ensure items safely arrive in all corners of the world. To that end we have regular customers who use Sedbergh stamps to sell their surplus or excess material on a regular basis. This service is on a commission basis.

However there are occasions, we know that material will do better in a "Bricks and Mortar" Auction House environment, and for our customers we are now able to offer an additional service as the specialist valuer for stamps and postcards at 1818 Auctioneers, based near Kendal. Material is offered for sale through the auction house. Material sold there, is on the terms and conditions of the auction house, however be assured we will look after, catalogue, picture and ensure it gets maximum exposure through various medial channels that the auction house use.

Finally if the material is something we are looking for, for one of our clients, then we will offer to purchase your stamps off of you.
